Max Verstappen’s Girlfriend Opens Up on ‘Pregnancy’ Struggles While Promoting $76,450,000 Brand
Just because a Formula 1 season completely consumes our very best, that doesn’t mean the drivers don’t maintain a personal life. Even though the F1 schedule grows hectic, there is always a summer break for the drivers to unwind from racing. This is the time when the drivers spend quality time with their families. This is exactly when we see Max Verstappen make his bond with his girlfriend Kelly Piquet‘s daughter stronger. However, as we all know, the Dutchman isn’t the father and wasn’t around when Penelope was born. So we were never really aware of the struggles of Piquet’s struggles during her pregnancy until now.
The Brazilian model gave birth to her daughter back in July 2019 with her then-boyfriend Daniil Kvyat. However, with a subsequent turn of events, Kvyat was replaced by Verstappen in all aspects of their lives. Despite the two swapping lives, there was one aspect Verstappen has not experienced with his current girlfriend, the miracle of childbirth.
However, this miracle comes with its own struggles. Kelly Piquet expressed her perspective on the same during her promotion of child safety products by Cybex. The German company worth a massive $76 million chose Kelly Piquet to endorse their products. She is, after all, the perfect culmination of speed and motherhood.
Speaking about her struggles and journey, as seen on her Instagram story, Piquet said, “First of all, when you are pregnant for the first time, you have, ‘How am I going to start all this? How am I going to do all this?’ everything starts changing. The thing that caught me was all the awards.”
The Red Bull boss, back in 2019, made a suggestion to Daniil Kvyat that would make everyone blush. Back in 2019, after securing the Toro Rosso seat, the Russian driver put in decent performances throughout the season. The highlight of his season was the P3 at the German GP. Coincidently, Kvyat had become a father a night before as Kelly Piquet gave birth to Penelope. To make matters more interesting, the guy who replaced him at the Red Bull and in Piquet’s life was the race-winner. Keeping that in mind, Horner’s comments come across as hilariously awkward now.
