Coventry City: Jack Rudoni and “dangerous” returnee pinpointed as Callum O’Hare replacements
FLW’s Coventry City fan pundit, Neil Littlewood, doesn’t believe that the Sky Blues need to head back into the transfer market to help fill the void that O’Hare has left, instead believing a recent signing and a returning loan player will accomplish that.
Littlewood said: “Jack Rudoni, what a boy! Do you know what, I don’t think so.
“We brought Rudoni in, who kind of fills that central role, and Ephron Mason-Clark is coming from Peterborough. In the pre-season game against Stevenage, Mason-Clark drifted centrally quite a lot, which provided another option in there.
“Mason-Clark looks dangerous going forward, Rudoni’s range of passing looks brilliant, and he can dribble and beat a man. I think between the two of them, they kind of fill that void.
“Obviously, we’ve still got Kasey Palmer, Sakamoto is back fit, and I think O’Hare played his best football last season when he had Sakamoto on the pitch as well.
“So I think that’s a testament of how good Sakamoto is too. I don’t think we need to sign another player to fill that void no.
“If Kasey Palmer was to move on, then maybe another attacking midfielder wouldn’t be a bad option, but I think the O’Hare void is filled.”
