JUST IN : Wrexham Police renew appeal following alleged bus incidents

North Wales Police’s Wrexham Rural team issued an appeal last week following two alleged incidents on buses in Brymbo on June 27.

 

Two passengers were allegedly assault while travelling, leading to the arrest of a 45-year-old man.

Now the force have renewed their appeal in a bid to identify the victims.

A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: “We are again appealing for witnesses following two separate incidents on buses in Brymbo, Wrexham, on the 27th June 2024.

“A 45-year-old man has since been arrested and has been remanded in prison for a number of offences.

“Any information to assist us in identifying the victims would be greatly appreciated.”

“At around 5pm on Thursday, June 27th, a man travelling on the number 12 Arriva bus to Brymbo is reported to have assaulted a passenger as he got off the bus on Edwards Avenue, Brymbo.

“At around 5.40pm, a teenage passenger travelling on a separate number 12 Arriva bus in Brymbo was also assaulted outside the Premier store on Offa Street, Brymbo.
