“They all came together for a fun lunch so the kids could hang out,” the insider told PEOPLE Magazine.
The lunch took place at the Polo Lounge in the Beverly Hills Hotel, with Affleck’s children Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, joining Lopez’s twins, Max and Emme, both 16.
Affleck’s 18-year-old daughter Violet, now attending Yale University, was not present but had spent time with Lopez in New York earlier in the summer.
Divorce hasn’t interfered with their co-parenting
The family lunch comes shortly after Lopez, 55, filed for divorce from Affleck, 52, on August 20. Despite spending the summer on opposite coasts – Lopez in Los Angeles and Affleck in the Hamptons – they continued to come together for their children’s milestones.
The couple celebrated graduations for Affleck’s daughter Violet and son Samuel earlier in the summer, showing their dedication to co-parenting through the separation.
