Jason Kelce reveals how he lost all his money at the Super Bowl
During the recent Super Bowl festivities in New Orleans, former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce experienced an unexpected financial setback. On a recent episode of the “New Heights” podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother, Travis Kelce, Jason recounted his misadventures at a nearby casino. Buoyed by previous gambling successes, he decided to try his luck again. However, this time, fortune didn’t favor him. He candidly shared, “Outside of that I just lost all my money at the casino. Casino’s right next door and because I won so much money last year at Las Vegas (at the Super Bowl), I thought, ‘Hey, we’ll just keep this rolling, this will be great.’ Yup, didn’t work this time.”
Jason’s gambling woes didn’t end there. While playing craps, he encountered a particularly frustrating situation. A fellow player consistently bet against the table, leading to tension. Jason humorously recounted, “I’m sitting there playing Craps. This [expletive] dude is sitting down playing the ‘Don’t Pass’ line, killing it. Just killing it. … I want to kill this guy so bad.”
This isn’t the first time Jason has faced misfortune during Super Bowl events. Approximately ten months ago, during a live recording of the “New Heights” podcast, he misplaced his Super Bowl LII ring. He speculated that the ring might have been lost in a pool of chili during the event, leading to an extensive search through 30,000 tonnes of trash in Cincinnati. Despite filing a police report for the lost property, the ring was never recovered.
These incidents highlight the unpredictable nature of high-profile events and serve as a reminder of the potential pitfalls of gambling and the importance of safeguarding valuable possessions.
