Sandra Bullock CONFIRMS she is starring in Practical Magic 2 as she says she will get into ‘good trouble’ with costar Nicole Kidman

Sandra Bullock has opened up about the upcoming sequel to her 1998 film Practical Magic, co-starring Nicole Kidman.

Discussing Practical Magic 2 at director Griffin Dunne’s Tuesday book party for his memoir The Friday Afternoon Club: A Family Memoir, the 59-year-old actress joked about the movie, ‘Here comes trouble, but good trouble,’ People reported.

Praising Dunne, who helmed the original motion picture, Bullock gushed: ‘You feel like you were always in the backseat experiencing it all with him. He has lived more lives than a cat.’

The Miss Congeniality star added, ‘I don’t know anyone who has experienced what he has and can still manage to find the love and humor in even the darkest of places.’

It comes after last week Kidman, 57, confirmed that she and Bullock will reunite to reprise their roles in the new project.

Warner Bros. announced the news of the follow-up film earlier this month, uploading clips of Bullock and Kidman on social media.

The original movie was based on the 1995 Alice Hoffman novel of the same name.

The story follows two orphaned sisters, Sally (Bullock) and Gillian Owens (Kidman), who come from a long line of witches.

It’s not yet known if Dunne will have any involvement in the sequel.

The girls were raised by their eccentric aunts, played by Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest, who embraced their magical history.

Akiva Goldsman, who co-wrote the 1998 script, has signed on to pen the sequel, according to Deadline.

Both Bullock and Kidman will serve as producers on the project.

Practical Magic earned $68.3 million globally, according to The Numbers, falling below its $75 million budget.
