Dream come true: The Cure finally triggered to another interesting….

The Cure’s upcoming album Songs of a Lost World, set to release on November 1, 2024, marks a significant and emotional return after a 16-year hiatus. This album is deeply personal for frontman Robert Smith, especially with the opening track “Alone,” which he described as the key to unlocking the whole project. He revealed that the song came together after recalling a poem by English poet Ernest Dowson, which helped him realize the emotional tone of the album.

The album has been eagerly awaited by fans, many of whom got a sneak peek during The Cure’s 2022 tour. Despite its long creation process, Songs of a Lost World reflects themes of isolation and melancholy, which are characteristic of The Cure’s iconic style.
