Just In: Former Super Bowl champion pinpoints the one move Ravens must make in offseason

The Baltimore Ravens may see quite a bit of turnaround at the wide receiver position in the offseason.

Out of the seven wide receivers who featured in at least one snap for the Ravens this season, four of them will hit free agency in March. Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman and Tylan Wallace are the lone wideouts who are under contract with the Ravens for the 2024 campaign.

If it were up to two-time Super Bowl champion and current ESPN analyst Damien Woody, he would look to bring a “proven” wideout to Baltimore in the offseason in order to help out Lamar Jackson.

“I still think offensively, I think they still need another wide receiver,” Woody said during a recent appearance on ESPN’s “Get Up” program. “Odell Beckham was diminished. Flowers is outstanding, but he’s young.

“I think they need another proven guy on the edge on that offense.”

Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta will have plenty of options to bolster his team’s wide receiver room in both this year’s free agency period and the 2024 NFL Draft. For one, he could go all out to sign Tampa Bay Buccaneers wideout Mike Evans, who will become an unrestricted free agent in March.

Overall, Flowers led Baltimore in both receptions (77) and receiving yards (858) in the regular season.
