The Bulls ‘Would Covet’ Reaves In A Potential LaVine Trade

Rumors about the Los Angeles Lakers potentially trading for a third star have continued to develop. With the Chicago Bulls looking to make significant changes to their roster, a trade for Zach LaVine may be on the table.

According to Shams Charania , the Bulls would want Austin Reaves as a part of any package for the two-time All-Star.

The Lakers are currently sitting with a 10-8 record to start this season. Although things have been solid, the team could look to add another star in order to help alleviate some of the responsibility from LeBron James and Anthony Davis this year.

James is still playing at an MVP-caliber level with the Lakers. Although this has been amazing, he is clearly on the tail end of his career. If James is to win another championship, a third star may have to be added.

As for Reaves, he just signed a contract extension with the Lakers this last offseason. After an amazing playoff performance to help lead the team to the Western Conference Finals, he inked a four-year extension with the team.

The Lakers will have to take the time to weigh their options going forward. There is no denying that Reaves is a great piece for the Lakers on a post-LeBron team, but the team may look to make a move for a solidified All-Star presence instead
