Pete Carroll Open to Coaching Again? ‘We’ll See!’

After 14 years as Seattle Seahawks head coach, Pete Carroll was moved on from this week as it was deemed that the best thing for the organization was to get a fresh start. But with so many head coaching jobs available this offseason and given the fact that Carroll stated he still has the juice to coach, does he see himself coaching again, perhaps this upcoming season?

“I don’t know that,” Carroll said on Seattle Sports. “I’ve got plenty of energy for it and thought and willingness, but I can’t imagine there’s a place, the right one. I don’t know. I’m open to everything, but I’m not holding my breath on that. … So if that happens, it happens. We’ll see. I really don’t what to tell you about that yet.” It would make sense for Carroll not to rush into any decision as the 72-year-old might need a reset after a trying season that saw Seattle miss out on a playoff berth.

Working at the same organization for 14 years is a good achievement, and given that he still has a thirst for coaching, Carroll will no doubt have some suitors moving forward.
