Bills fans spend the night shoveling snow in preparation for Steelers game

The Buffalo Bills are still getting ready for their playoff matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday. However, they needed assistance to carry out the majority of those preparations, therefore they are inviting nearby fans to the stadium starting at 12 a.m. to assist in clearing snow from Highmark Stadium.

For their labors, shovelers will receive $20 per hour in compensation, in addition to “free breakfast and refreshments in the morning, served in a cozy break area.” If at all feasible, we ask that they bring their own shovels. The supporters in the stadium were shown shoveling snow in a video that TikTok user htbway recorded at around five in the morning ET, and it was quite the sight, according to Steelers writer Brooke Pryor.

The Bills used Twitter once more on Monday morning to ask supporters for further help shovelling snow in advance of kickoff, which is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. ET.

Snow is expected at Highmark Stadium in the fifth hour, according to AccuWeather, and there will be consistent winds of 10 to 15 mph during the game. The “RealFeel” temperature will be approximately 0ºF, with temperatures hovering in the mid-teens.

We sincerely appreciate everyone who volunteered their time to make sure the stadium is prepared for the playoff game on Monday! Would you be among the first to offer to shovel at Acrisure Stadium if the Steelers made such a request?
