INTERESTING: Steph Curry Discusses His Talk With The Disappointed Warriors Starter

When Jonathan Kuminga leaked his frustration with Steve Kerr to Shams Charania, the flood gates opened for the Golden State Warriors. Despite that, the team didn’t crumble from the report and even responded with a win last night. Steph Curry, too, knew that there was a situation that he had to handle.

Surprisingly, the first thing that Steph Curry said was that Kuminga wasn’t wrong in his feelings. One thing he did want to note though, was there there’s a better way to handle the situation.

“I’ve been there before,” Curry said. “He’s not wrong for being upset and pissed off, wanting to play. Probably should’ve played. Not probably. The ultimate challenge for anybody in this league is to not let the narrative be told for you… we all go through our challenges.”

Curry also revealed that he had a conversation with Kuminga about his frustrations, and was proud of how Kuminga responded against the Detroit Pistons.

“There are ways to express it. Ways to voice your opinion but protect the team. I’m proud of the way he like, we talked about it before the game, go out and play, go hoop, be a professional, that’s what he did tonight.”

Winning solves all in the NBA, no matter what the situation is. If the Warriors can string together some wins, it’ll likely alleviate Kuminga’s frustration.
