STORIES JUST IN: With nine players chosen for the 2024 Pro Bowl, the 49ers lead the pack.

The NFL announced the rosters for the 2024 Pro Bowl Games on Wednesday, with the San Francisco 49ers leading the way with an incredible nine players selected. Rounding out the rest of the NFC were the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles, with seven and six Pro Bowlers, respectively.

Meanwhile, the Baltimore Ravens boast an AFC-best seven Pro Bowlers, followed by the Cleveland Browns and Miami Dolphins with five apiece.

The full rosters for the Pro Bowl Games scheduled for Feb. 4 in Orlando, Florida, can be found here.

Per the 49ers, having nine players chosen for the Pro Bowl sets a new franchise mark, and it’s the most for a single team in the NFL since 2013.

The list includes a who’s who of standouts. On the defensive side of the ball, four 49ers received the honor, headlined by defensive end Nick Bosa, who will make his fourth Pro Bowl appearance.

Conversely, the Niners’ offense will send five players to the games, including Brock Purdy, who became the first 49ers quarterback to make the Pro Bowl in over 20 years. The last passer to represent the franchise was Jeff Garcia in 2002.

Meanwhile, veteran and future Hall of Fame lineman Trent Williams received the nod for the 11th time. He’s now one of only eight O-lineman to have 11 or more Pro Bowls under his belt and is only three behind Bruce Matthews for the record (14), per Nick Wagoner of ESPN.

The 49ers also boast an astonishing 12 Pro Bowl alternates. So, it’s safe to say that no matter who decides to make the trek for the annual All-Star festivities, San Francisco is bound to be well represented.
