I’m absolutely thrilled to be a Blue Jay again.
“I’m the luckiest man on the planet to have such a great opportunity to come back to an awesome team with great dudes and with a ton of talent, to a great organization and a great city.Kiermaier, who agreed to terms on a one-year deal worth US $10.5 million, said he had his team physical on Wednesday and is ready to pick up where he left off last season. The centrepiece of the Jays’ excellent defensive outfield, the former Tampa Bay Ray also was productive batting at the bottom of the Toronto order.“I’m gonna turn 34, I feel 24,” Kiermaier said. “I’m going to be even better than I was last year — I promise you that. I’m so happy. I cannot wait to get this going — 2024 is our year.
