In a stunning announcement that has sent shockwaves through the music world, legendary rocker Bruce Springsteen has revealed plans to release a monumental collection of previously unheard material titled “Tracks II: The Lost Albums.” The expansive set, slated for release on June 27, 2025, via Sony Music, will feature a staggering seven full-length, never-before-released albums, comprising a total of 83 songs.
This treasure trove of music spans a significant period of Springsteen’s illustrious career, with recordings dating from 1983 all the way up to 2018. According to a statement from Springsteen, these “lost albums” were complete records, some even fully mixed, that for various reasons never saw the light of day.

“Tracks II: The Lost Albums” promises to offer an unprecedented glimpse into Springsteen’s creative process and evolution as an artist. The collection will be available in multiple formats, including a limited-edition nine-LP vinyl box set and a seven-CD box set. Both physical editions will include distinctive packaging for each of the previously unreleased albums, along with a 100-page cloth-bound hardcover book featuring rare archival photos, detailed liner notes for each album penned by essayist Erik Flannigan, and a personal introduction from Springsteen himself.
Adding to the excitement, a companion set titled “Lost And Found: Selections from The Lost Albums” will also be released on June 27. This collection will feature 20 highlights from across the seven “lost” albums, available on two LPs or a single CD, providing a condensed entry point into this vast archive.
In anticipation of the full release, Springsteen has already offered fans a taste of what’s to come with the release of several tracks. These include “Rain In The River” from the unreleased “Perfect World” album, the soundtrack title track “Faithless” from a movie that was never made, and “Blind Spot” from the “Streets of Philadelphia Sessions.” Just yesterday, another track, “Repo Man” from the “Somewhere North of Nashville” album, was unveiled, showcasing Springsteen’s exploration into country music during the same period as “The Ghost of Tom Joad.”
