Bellamy Brothers Share Secrets of Budweiser’s Clydesdale Super Bowl Ad Song, ‘Let Your Love Flow

The Bellamy Brothers’ iconic 1976 hit, “Let Your Love Flow,” has found renewed prominence as the soundtrack for Budweiser’s 2025 Super Bowl commercial, “First Delivery.” This advertisement features a young Clydesdale foal embarking on a determined journey to deliver a fallen keg, symbolizing resilience and dedication.

David and Howard Bellamy expressed their pride in the song’s inclusion, stating, “We are so proud to have our hit song ‘Let Your Love Flow’ featured in the new Budweiser Super Bowl Ad. Such a beautiful video. The Clydesdales are simply awesome.”

Reflecting on the song’s origins, the Bellamy Brothers recall that “Let Your Love Flow” was written by Larry E. Williams, a roadie for Neil Diamond. The duo was introduced to the song through Diamond’s drummer, leading to its recording with members of Diamond’s band. Released in 1976, it achieved international success, reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and topping charts in multiple countries.

Over the years, “Let Your Love Flow” has been featured in various commercials, including a notable 2008 UK advertisement for Barclays, which led to the song re-entering the UK charts and peaking at number 21.

The Bellamy Brothers continue to embrace the song’s enduring appeal, acknowledging its ability to resonate across different contexts and generations. Its selection for Budweiser’s Super Bowl commercial not only introduces the classic hit to a new audience but also reinforces its timeless message of love and perseverance.
