Magdalena Bay, the experimental pop duo comprising Mica Tenenbaum and Matthew Lewin, has announced an extension of their Imaginal Mystery Tour into 2025, adding a series of North American headline dates in the spring.
Following a successful 2024 that included two sold-out headline tours and the release of their critically acclaimed sophomore album, Imaginal Disk, the duo is set to continue their momentum into the new year.
The North American leg of the tour is scheduled to commence on April 25, 2025, at Terminal 5 in New York City, with subsequent stops in major cities including Philadelphia, Boston, Cleveland, and Toronto. The tour will conclude on May 16, 2025, at the Rialto Theatre in Tucson, Arizona. Notably, most of these spring shows will feature support from artist Sam Austins.
Tickets for these newly announced dates are set to go on sale to the public on Friday, December 13, 2024, at 10:00 AM local time. Presale opportunities will be available starting Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 10:00 AM local time.
Imaginal Disk, released in August 2024 via Mom+Pop Music, has garnered widespread critical acclaim and features singles such as “Death & Romance,” which Paste Magazine named the #1 song of the year. The album’s success has been further amplified by sold-out headline tours across North America and Europe, as well as a late-night television debut on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
In addition to their North American dates, Magdalena Bay’s 2025 tour schedule includes performances in Australia in March, appearances at festivals in Mexico, and a series of shows across Europe, including stops at Primavera Sound in Barcelona and Porto, We Love Green in Paris, and Roskilde Festival in Denmark.
Fans can anticipate a dynamic live experience that showcases the duo’s blend of retro and futuristic pop elements, as they continue to build on the success of Imaginal Disk and their innovative approach to music production and performance.
