Tottenham transfer target : opens door for january sale.

Tottenham Hotspur have joined the race to sign highly rated Swedish star Roony Bardghji, according to a report from Denmark.

A recent report from 90 Min claimed that Copenhagen are prepared to sell the 18-year-old winger during the January transfer window with the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Spurs all interested in signing him.

A report from the Danish outlet BT (via Sport Witness) has also reiterated that Bardghji has been closely followed by several top European clubs, including Tottenham, who are considered the main rivals to Chelsea for his signature.

The report claims that Spurs are a ‘big suitor’ of the 18-year-old whose contract with FC Copenhagen expires in December 2025.

The Danish club are said to be excited about a potential bidding war for their star player as they dream a club-record sale of the hugely talented winger.

It is reported that the club are no longer interested in handing the player a contact extension as they are focused on ‘making a huge sale’ out of him in the January window or the next summer transfer window.

The report further adds that the player himself is in London but it can not be certain whether it has something to do with his links with Chelsea and Tottenham.

Roony has 7 goals in 17 appearances for the club this season and has already made 71 appearances for the first team at the age of 18, scoring 15 goals and assisting 1.

The Swedish winger holds the potential to develop into a top-tier Premier League attacker with proper coaching and guidance. Who better to mold him into a top player than Ange Postecoglou, renowned for transforming young talent into first-team stars?

Tottenham could also have an advantage in the race as they already have a Swedish star in Dejan Kulusevski who can convince the player if needed and can also act as a mentor for the young talent.
