Solskjaer rejects another chance to return to management

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has declined an opportunity to manage Denmark’s national football team, reportedly because he is engaged in talks with a “major club” regarding a head coaching role. The Danish Football Association

approached Solskjaer to replace Kasper Hjulmand, but he chose not to proceed, signaling a preference for returning to club management. Rumors suggest that one of the clubs he might be negotiating with is Manchester United, where he has strong ties as a former manager and player.

Since leaving Manchester United in 2021, Solskjaer has turned down other offers, including roles in the Saudi Pro League and MLS, emphasizing his intent to find a project that matches his ambitions. He recently expressed interest in returning to high-pressure management roles, particularly at an influential club.
