Following two home losses, the Florida Panthers depart for Canada.

On Sunday morning, the Florida Panthers will return to action at Amerant Bank Arena before making their way north to Canada for a brief but intense road trip.Beginning Monday night in Ottawa, the Panthers will play three games against teams in the Atlantic Division in the course of four days.

After that, Florida will go to Montreal on Thursday and Toronto on Tuesday.

The Panthers will play the Senators and Canadiens for the first time this season. In the team’s October 19 home debut, Florida defeated Toronto 4-3.

The Panthers could be in for a successful trip since they suffered a setback over the Thanksgiving break.

The Panthers and Bruins squared off on Wednesday, with the Panthers ultimately falling 3-1.

Florida played a mostly listless game in its 3-0 loss to Winnipeg on Friday night.

The Panthers have only lost two games in a row this season, and this is the first time it has occurred at home.

The Panthers will not have an easy journey because Ottawa had won three straight games prior to Friday night’s home loss to the Islanders.

It won’t be easy for Toronto to defeat them back-to-back, as the Maple Leafs have won five of their last six games at home.

The Maple Leafs will spend their Sunday night at home after their game in Pittsburgh.

After a protracted road trip, Montreal will also be returning home on Wednesday when they play in Columbus before hosting the Panthers on Thursday.

Thus, the Panthers will have one of the rare chances to wait for the home team to arrive.
