New York, NY – Progressive metal icons Dream Theater have announced plans for a highly-anticipated 2025 world tour, as well as a brand-new studio album.
The tour, which is set to kick off in spring 2025, will see Dream Theater performing in some of the world’s most iconic venues, including New York’s Madison Square Garden, London’s Wembley Arena, and Tokyo’s Budokan.
“We’re incredibly excited to announce our 2025 world tour,” said guitarist John Petrucci. “We’ve been working tirelessly on new music and we can’t wait to share it with our fans. This tour is going to be a game-changer!”
The new album, which is currently in production, will mark Dream Theater’s 15th studio release. The album is expected to feature a mix of progressive metal, rock, and pop, showcasing the band’s signature blend of complex musicianship and catchy hooks.
“We’re pushing the boundaries of what Dream Theater can do,” said vocalist James LaBrie. “This new album is going to be a wild ride, with plenty of twists and turns. We can’t wait to share it with our fans!”
The 2025 world tour will feature a high-energy live show, complete with stunning visuals, pyrotechnics, and a career-spanning setlist.
Tickets for the tour will go on sale in the coming weeks, with exclusive pre-sale opportunities available for Dream Theater fan club members.
