Manchester, UK – British pop-rock sensations The 1975 have announced plans for a highly-anticipated 2025 world tour, as well as a brand-new studio album.
The tour, which is set to kick off in spring 2025, will see The 1975 performing in some of the world’s most iconic venues, including London’s Wembley Stadium, New York’s Madison Square Garden, and Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl.
“We’re beyond excited to announce our 2025 world tour,” said lead vocalist Matty Healy. “We’ve been working tirelessly on new music and we can’t wait to share it with our fans. We’re ready to take over the world!”
The new album, which is currently in production, will mark The 1975’s fifth studio release. The album is expected to feature a mix of pop, rock, and electronica, showcasing the band’s signature blend of catchy hooks and introspective lyrics.
“We’ve been experimenting with some new sounds and styles,” said guitarist Adam Hann. “We’re really pushing the boundaries of what The 1975 can do. It’s going to be a wild ride!”
The 2025 world tour will feature a high-energy live show, complete with stunning visuals, pyrotechnics, and a career-spanning setlist.
Tickets for the tour will go on sale in the coming weeks, with exclusive pre-sale opportunities available for The 1975 fan club members.
