Tottenham received a major boost today as senior assistant manager Chris Davies rejected an offer from Swansea and decided to stay at the club.
Last week’s report claimed that the club rejected an offer from the Welsh club, which had emerged as a prime candidate for the managerial position after Michael Duff’s removal.
However, Ange refused to rule out an exit of his senior assistant , claiming that the decision is solely Davies’ to make.
Sky Sports then reported that the club are preparing another offer to temp Davies which they did.
However, as per the latest from BBC Sports Wales, the Welsh club failed in their bid to appoint Davies as their new manager.
It is said that Davies has made a significant impact behind the scenes, and is thoroughly enjoying working with Ange Postecoglou.
After a 5 game winless streak, Spurs have returned to winning ways with back to back wins against Newcastle and Nottingham Forest.
Their next game is a tough fixture against Sean Dyche’s Everton who have been on a terrific form of their own.
