Notre Dame cornerback Jaden Mickey has decided to leave the team and will enter the NCAA transfer portal after this season. He plans to redshirt the remainder of the 2024 season, preserving two years of eligibility. Mickey, a junior, has played in four games this season and made 28 total appearances during his time at Notre Dame. He intends to complete his degree before seeking a new opportunity at another program.
This move comes as a surprise, given his playing time, but it is reported that he is looking for a fresh start.
