Nottingham Forest predicted XI vs Tottenham

Nottingham Forest face Tottenham at the City Ground tonight and we’ve looked at a predicted eleven that Steve Cooper could utilise this evening.

Forest have won just once in 12 games and with pressure mounting on Steve Cooper, the Reds desperately need to claim all three points this evening.

Last time out Forest claimed a battling point against Wolves at Molineux. Harry Toffolo scored last weekend and he claimed afterwards that clear-the-air talks had taken place with Miltos Marinakis.

Ahead of tonight’s game, we’ve looked at a predicted eleven that Cooper might go with for the visit of Tottenham.

The changes were rang last weekend and Cooper will have learned a lot about the players who starred for him against Wolves.

With that in mind, Matt Turner will likely start for Forest between the posts in the week he was nominated for the USMNT Player of the Year.

Murillo and Moussa Niakhate will likely start the clash, with Felipe coming in to replace Willy Boly on the right-hand side of the three.

Neco Williams was unbelievable last weekend and he simply has to keep his place, after Cooper raved about his performance.

On the left, Toffolo will likely keep his place after netting Forest’s goal against Wolves last time out. He’s been in great form and has been pretty undroppable.

In the middle of the park, it’s hard to imagine Cooper making any changes after last weekend’s solid display.

Orel Mangala has been bang in form, with Ryan Yates and Cheikhou Kouyate both playing extremely well last weekend.

Morgan Gibbs-White was back in a central role for Forest last weekend and that is the position where he is most effective.

It might seem somewhat negative that Forest won’t play with a striker but utilising Elanga will give the team some pace on the counter-attack.
