JUST IN: Barrow vs Derby County prediction

The Rams had initially taken an early lead through Gambia international Ebou Adams, though Vakoun Bayo’s sensational acrobatic effort ensured things were level at half-time before Moussa Sissoko sealed a 2-1 victory for the Hornets with his 76th minute strike.

It was a resilient showing from Paul Warne’s men, though not enough to build on their impressive 1-0 victory over Middlesbrough. They will be hoping for a return to winning ways on their travels tonight.

Barrow, on the other hand, have enjoyed a promising start to their League Two campaign after winning two of their three fourth tier matches and progressing to the second round of the cup.

The Bluebirds produced an excellent display in their last outing against the recently relegated Port Vale, with goals from Gerard Garner, Emile Acquah, Kian Spence and Dominic Telford sealing a comfortable 4-0 victory.

It was their second win against the Valiants this season having beat them 3-2 in the first round of the Carabao Cup two weeks ago, and the prospect of hosting Derby County is now bound to be enticing.
