How This Iconic Christian Artist Is Getting Ready for Christmas

“Christmas music is a portal to wonder and awe,” Grant told Fox News, “to nostalgia and ‘remember when,’ to hope and how-we-wish-it-could-be.”

“And because we return to the same playlists year after year, those songs have become the backdrop for our collective memories of gathering, of family, of gift giving, of celebration and solitude,” she added.

Christmas has been the backdrop to Grant and Gill’s relationship since the beginning. He was captivated when he heard her sing her hit “Tennessee Christmas.” The two wouldn’t meet until 1993 while working a televised holiday concert and eventually married in 2000. They collaborated on Christmas projects and concerts throughout their relationship.

“I’ve recorded a lot of Christmas music over the years, and I’m excited to add two new songs to this collection, especially the song Vince and I close our Christmas concerts with, ‘‘Til The Season Comes Round Again,’” Grant concluded. “I hope these new songs find a place on playlists, whether it’s during the holiday season or all year ‘round.’”

The album comes as the couple get ready to make their return to “Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium in 2024 for their 14th annual ‘Christmas at the Ryman’ residency.”

Per Ryman, “For many years, the ‘Christmas at the Ryman’ shows have been the ultimate holiday tradition, with music fans from across the country and around the world flocking to the historic venue to hear two of Nashville’s most cherished performers. Last year, Grant and Gill celebrated their 100th ‘Christmas at the Ryman’ show during their sold-out residency, making them the first artists to headline 100 shows at the Ryman.”
