Transfer News: Norwich City Eyes Premier League Talent as Transfer Window Nears….

Norwich City chief shares Jonathan Rowe update amid Leeds United transfer talks

Head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup insists Jonathan Rowe remains fully focused on Norwich City, despite Leeds United’s interest in his services.

The England Under-21 international is of interest to the Whites as Daniel Farke looks to beef up his attacking options following Crysencio Summerville’s move to West Ham United.

Talks are believed to be ongoing with the Canaries over a deal for Rowe, who excelled in the Championship last term, hitting 12 goals in 32 outings to help City finish in the play-offs. Both Rowe and Canaries team-mate Adam Idah continue to be touted with Carrow Road exits. Striker Idah is thought to be on Celtic’s radar.

It will be interesting to see if Rowe and Idah will feature in Norwich’s Championship opener with Oxford United this weekend. “These guys, they train with the group, and they are important players for the group,” said Thorup. “We have to respect that the that the window is still open so many things can happen. We cannot affect what will happen.

“We cannot affect whether there will be an offer from a club here or there. That’s also what I tell the players on a daily basis. Fortunately, they are they’re doing well. They’re performing well. They’re training well and I will also say that their heads are ready to perform.”
