Stoke City Transfer Swoop Rated As Tough But Not Impossible

Wolves signed Hoever from Liverpool in 2020 and have sanctioned loan moves to PSV Eindhoven and Stoke City.

 

The versatile defender has been loaned out twice to Stoke City in the Championship and the Potters have again been linked with him.

He played an important part for the Potters last season where he appeared 44 times in all competitions and provided nine-goal contributions.

Hoever’s switch to Stoke City is currently claimed to be a difficult one but not completely impossible.

Recently relegated Championship outfit Sheffield United were also interested in him but the deal did not materialise.

The Dutch defender could still depart Molineux before the window closesNow it remains to be if Stoke City will be able to bring Hoever in for the third time with his current contract valid until 2026 at Molineux.
