Serena Williams boyfriend talk – Drake relationship heats up

Serena Williams likes to keep her personal life private, but regardless of what she says, there is so much evidence pointing to a relationship with rapper Drake that their couple status is pretty much undeniable.

Things started between Serena and Drake back in 2011 when the rapper watched the tennis star play at a Rogers Cup match in his hometown of Toronto. Buzz of a relationship between the two led to a beef between Serena’s ex-boyfriend, Common, and Drake. Drake responded with a few disses.

Drake and Serena were said to have had a rough breakup the first time around, potentially over a cheating matter. But they appear to be back together now as boyfriend and girlfriend, or whatever the celebrity equivalent of that is.

They played tennis together in 2013 in a photo that went viral. Then this year Drake cheered Serena on through her victorious run at Wimbledon, culminating with this social media shoutout:

“Showtime Champ. A big plate for all that food you ate at Wimbledon!” he wrote.

Serena seemed to reciprocate by including the hashtag “backtoback” in an Instagram post after winning at Cincinnati later in the summer. “#backtoback in Cincy. Good for the #dynamicduo @patrickmouratoglou #ontothenextone.” Back to Back” is the name of Drake’s diss track about Meek Mill.
