“They hate me” – Tyler Adams addresses Leeds United controversy after £23m legal threat
Bournemouth and USMNT midfielder Tyler Adams has reflected on his time at Leeds United last year, leaving in bitter circumstances having previously been a fan favourite at Elland Road.
Leeds’ current stint in the Championship is one that came in quite unsavoury circumstances, off the back of some controversial transfers after relegation.
Two sought legal action to depart, both to Bournemouth in the summer window of 2023, as Tyler Adams jumped ship for £23million.
‘It was a no brainer. I honestly didn’t really know what I was getting myself into.
“When things are going really, it’s amazing – the best thing ever. But when things aren’t going well…”
As much as the relationship from Leeds fans’ perspective is destroyed on the Adams front, the USMNT captain remains with fond memories of his year at the club.
