The Denver Nuggets have Jamal Murray on the injury report
After missing several games with a hamstring injury, Denver Nuggets star Jamal Murray tweaked his ankle in his return from that injury, which has sidelined him again for the last two games. While this was a very frustrating setback for Murray, it doesn’t seem to be one that is too serious, as he has been listed as questionable on the injury report for these last two games.
Murray of course ended up missing these games after the questionable listing, but the fact that he was not ruled out a day in advance does show that there was at least a chance of him playing. The Nuggets are in Los Angeles on Wednesday night to face the LA Clippers, and Murray is again being listed as questionable.
It seems likely that Murray will go through his pregame routine and see if he feels good enough to play after connecting with the medical staff. Murray does have some injury history, so the Nuggets are going to always be cautious with him when it comes to his health.
Having defeated the Clippers just a few games ago without Murray, Nikola Jokic, and Aaron Gordon, the Nuggets have a lot of firepower that can make up for the absence of a star player if needed. That said, Denver certainly wants their roster fully healthy sooner rather than later, as the Western Conference is very competitive.
