Elliot Lee is making the most of relaxed summer rules before Wrexham return to pre-season training, with a pub and pint trip enjoyed with father Rob.
The all-action midfielder was a talismanic presence for the Red Dragons in 2023-24 as they secured a runners-up finish in League Two. The 29-year-old registered 16 goals through 53 appearances in all competitions, earning him a place in the fourth-tier Team of the Season.
Lee has played in League One before, with the likes of Luton and Charlton, and is expected to lead from the front again as Ryan Reynolds, Rob McElhenney and Phil Parkinson look to piece together another promotion push and third trip to Las Vegas.
Parkinson’s side are enjoying a well-earned break for now, with Lee among those looking to let his hair down before the demands of professional football resume. He has taken the opportunity to get the beers in alongside his former England international dad.
Wrexham returned to pre-season towards the end of June in 2023, with a similar plan set to be followed 12 months on. The likes of Paul Mullin and James McClean have been hitting the gym hard, with it imperative that the Red Dragons avoid any untimely stumbles out of the blocks in a division that will be fiercely competitive.
