GOOD NEWS: Everton make move to sign record-breaking attacker…..

Everton make approach Sheffield United starlet Daniel Jebbison on free transfer

Everton have made an approach to soon-to-be free agent Daniel Jebbison this summer, according to a report by HITC.

Writing on their website (31 May), the news outlet report that the 20-year-old is set to leave Bramall Lane when his contract expires despite the Blades’ best efforts to tie him down to fresh terms.

And the striker is attracting heavy interest from clubs like Leeds United, but Everton are one of the sides to have actually made their move to convince him to move to Goodison Park and get a headstart on their rivals for his signature.

Everton to add another talented young striker to the squad?

Jebbison is a very highly-rated talent in England, despite missing the majority of the 2023/24 season with a blood clot as the Blades were relegated to the Championship.

But back in 2021 the Candian-born England youth international became the youngest player to score on his full debut, and he has continued to impress ever since.

So it’s no wonder that a host of clubs are interested in bringing him in on a free transfer, with plenty of talent and even more room for improvement.

However, while Everton definitely need new attacking options there are question marks about whether a 20-year-old with limited experience is really the answer to their problems.

Youssef Chermiti is already at the club and part of the squad and fills that same role in the squad, so there will be a decision to be made if both are in the squad alongside Beto and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

But Jebbison is a very talented young player and on a free transfer, it will undoubtedly be a shrewd bit of business.
