SeatGeek has entered into a multi-year extension with Stoke City and will continue as the English Football League club’s primary ticketing technology partner.
The partnership is said to affirm both parties’ commitment to improving Stoke’s digital ticketing experience.
The pair are set to continue working towards the adoption of mobile season cards and match tickets in the near future.
“Over the past five seasons, SeatGeek have demonstrated their commitment to enhancing the ticketing experience at the bet365 Stadium,” said Stoke City’s chief operating officer Simon King.
“We firmly believe that SeatGeek is the partner best placed to help Stoke City innovate in this area in the coming years. We are excited to continue this journey and look forward to what the future holds.”
The renewal follows a similar pattern as SeatGeek has negotiated extensions with the likes of Reading FC, Middlesbrough, and Rangers FC in recent months.
The company’s UK portfolio also features nearly half of the Premier League, including Manchester City, Liverpool, Aston Villa and Newcastle United.
Championship sides Bristol City, Watford, and relegated Sheffield United also work with SeatGeek.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to renew our partnership with Stoke City FC, a club with such a rich history and passionate fan base,” said SeatGeek managing director of Europe, Middle East, and Africa Peter Joyce.
“This collaboration reflects our commitment to bringing fans closer to the game they love, ensuring seamless access to unforgettable matchday experiences. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Stoke City and their incredible supporters over the coming seasons.”
