Leeds United winger Jack Harrison is said to be a permanent transfer target for Everton this summer after the Whites missed out on promotion on Sunday.

The dust is just about settling on Leeds’ defeat in the Championship playoff final to Southampton, where Adam Armstrong’s goal proved the difference between the two sides on Sunday.

It leaves the 49ers and Daniel Farke to clear up what’s going to be another uncertain summer where key players are likely to leave, and loan players need their futures resolving.

Jack Harrison wanted by Everton on permanent deal, Toffees “confident”

Jack Harrison’s loan deal at Everton came to a conclusion with the Toffees cruising to safety despite the Premier League slapping them with two separate points deductions during the season.

The Leeds winger was a regular in Sean Dyche’s side despite his struggle for consistent output from wide, ending the season with just three goals and three assists.

It is being reported by the Daily Mail now that the Merseyside outfit are looking to re-sign Harrison on permanent terms in the coming months of the summer transfer window.

Harrison has seemingly impressed Dyche in his efforts during the season for the Goodison Park club, so much so that Everton are bypassing the thought of a temporary agreement.

Instead, it is claimed that Everton are “confident” of securing Harrison on a permanent deal from Leeds, three years on from his £11million arrival at Elland Road from Manchester City.

There’s very little in terms of a way back for Harrison at Leeds, and no party really wants to try make that happen in 2024.

He burned his bridges by pushing hard to jump ship last summer, and Everton are seemingly happy with his performances – unless you were to consult the fanbase.

Harrison should be able to bank us at least the same fee that we paid Man City in 2021 and more, given Everton are very eager to get a deal done.
