SHOCKING NEWS: The Esk hits out at what Moshiri said about Everton takeover today….

Farhad Moshiri shares Everton takeover update as ‘Disgraceful’ verdict drops

The Esk has slammed Farhad Moshiri as the Everton Fan Advisory Board released a statement following their meeting with the owner.

The FAB confirmed what Moshiri told them, having waited several weeks for the meeting to take place, with the owner apologising for the delay and lack of communication with the fans over the ongoing takeover.

He also revealed that he has received “unsolicited approaches from other parties”, but could not engage with any of them while the Share Purchase Agreement is in place with 777 Partners, which is active until 31 May.

Reacting to the statement via X on Thursday (23 May), The Esk wrote: “Well, the master of kicking the can down the road does it again. Quite disgraceful contempt for the club & fans once more.

“The note confirms two major points. (i) 777 will not complete before the end of May, nor after (ii) there are alternatives waiting in the wings.”

Farhad Moshiri slammed once again as Everton uncertainties grow

Moshiri, although already a controversial figure at Goodison Park, has become an even more infamous figure at the club as the Toffees’ future continues to hang on a knife edge. A whole-fire sale and administration have already been mooted as possible eventualities as 777 Partners’ takeover continues to stall and Moshiri seems unable to currently explore other parties.

The passionate Evertonians just want to know that their club is safe as they head into the summer transfer window, which is set to be a quiet one in terms of player additions if this uncertainty continues.

The Esk’s assessment is certainly a fair one, as the owner keeps going in circles and repeating the same things over and over again, especially when it comes to doing better for the fans.

The communication between owner and fans has been almost non-existent, with the majority of fans guessing their fate by reading reports. It is just not good enough.
