EFL RUMORS: As new recruit is said to be on the way…….

Very likely to see Conor Coady leave for Stoke City or Sheffield United as new recruit is said to be on the way

Conor Coady could follow Marc Albrighton out the door at Leicester, despite showing enough to convince Leicester fans about his qualities, his injury problems early on, made it difficult to get a chance to become a regular starter for Enzo Maresca last season.

Stoke City and Sheffield United are the two teams talked up as possible new destinations for the former Wolves captain and Everton loan man. To have a career at full international level for England is also one major positive.

Conor Coady will of course also have Championship promotion experience in the bag, being part of the Leicester match squad in almost every game as well as playing in number of them with good and positive results. At the age of 31 he still have a number of years left in him. To see clubs such as Stoke City and Sheffield United in the chase is no surprise, as his qualites surely will be of major use in a promotion challenge. A fee in the region of £7.5million would be the price to pay.

If Leicester are successful in their approach to sign Wilfred Ndidi up for a number of new seasons, believing a contract offer will be from three to four years length, they have a grand alternative to Jannik Vestergaard, Wout Faes and Ben Nelson, who are surely players to be in next season squad. The fact that Brazilian centre back Gabriel Pereira (24), currently with Gil Vicente in Portugal, is said to be on his way to the club, for a fee in the region of €6million, would probably give Leicester a chance to free up space with a sale of Conor Coady.

Gabriel Pereira looks a good addition and a challenger to regulars Faes and Vestergaard. Having Ndidi and Nelson also among candidates for the two or three central defence positions looks ideal.

This sounds like a good solution, as we have updated our list of hot, cool and cold rumours, likely to believe Gabriel Pereira is hot, also being a target in January and from what we have heard also started to follow Leicester on Instagram.
