Draymond Green, Jusuf Nurkic have another public war of words
Draymond Green and Jusuf Nurkic are quickly progressing toward a blood feud.
The Golden State Warriors star Green made some more shady comments about Nurkic on Monday’s episode of “Inside the NBA” on TNT. Speaking on the situation of the Phoenix Suns, Green notably stated that the Suns “ain’t got no big man.” That was a not-so-subtle swipe at Nurkic, who is Phoenix’s starting center.
Green’s comments drew the attention of Nurkic himself, who fired back in a post to X.
“I see that brother still needs help,” wrote Nurkic of Green. “STILL [crying emoji] ABOUT KD [Kevin Durant], he don’t like #drayover.”
Green and Nurkic have been beefing since December when the former infamously hit the latter in the head during a game and got suspended for it. (See the video here.) In addition to a back-and-forth that resulted from some unflattering remarks that Green said about Nurkic on his self-titled podcast, Nurkic also recently publicly trolled Green for missing the playoffs.
To his credit, the former Defensive Player of the Year Green just buried the hatchet with another one of his longtime enemies. But it seems that a new nemesis in Nurkic has quickly emerged to fill that void for Green.
