Tragedy as missing man’s body found in Coventry woodland
Police say they are not treating his death as suspicious
Police have confirmed the body of a missing man has been found in Coventry woodland. West Midlands Police have said that it is understood to be that of a missing man, named as Anthony from Binley.
An appeal was made for help to find the 58-year-old, who had gone missing from his home. Sadly, his body was found in woodland in Willenhall.
Police have said that they are not treating the death as suspicious. They have also passed on their sympathies to his friends and family.
The full statement reads: “Officers searching for missing 58-year-old Anthony have sadly found the body of a man in woodland in Willenhall. Formal identification is yet to take place but Anthony’s family have been informed.
“We are not treating the death as suspicious and our sympathies are with his family and friends.”
