The 22-year-old has only made 16 league appearances for the Villans, coming on as a substitute for the majority of those and that has led to speculation that he might be on his way out of his boyhood club.

Jones has now said that Tottenham are on the lookout for homegrown midfield options, with Ramsey being one of the players on their radar.
The journalist said on the Ranks FC Ultras Podcast: “Tottenham will try to sign a midfielder. They want homegrown players, they need to focus on players who are homegrown, that was said to me recently.
“So there’s a certain profile of player, so you’ll see the likes of Jacob Ramsey and Conor Gallagher, these type of players linked with Tottenham.”
