Aston Villa fans are saying the same thing about Moussa Diaby after the Villans’ disappointing 1-0 defeat to Brighton on Sunday afternoon.
Aston Villa ended the week with two defeats from the two games they played, adding to their 4-2 loss to Olympiacos with a 1-0 away defeat against Brighton.
On Sunday afternoon, Unai Emery’s side looked jaded at the Amex, falling short to an 87th-minute goal from Joao Pedro, who was denied from the spot by Robin Olsen, only to turn in the rebound.
It was an incredibly lacklustre display from the visitors, who recorded just two shots during the game, telling of their lack of presence on the South Coast.
Besides Olsen, who received a lot of criticism for his performance against Olympiacos on Thursday, no Villa player had an impressive individual display however, some certainly contributed less than others.
One player who was unable to provide much throughout the contest was Moussa Diaby, who was anonymous in attack on a day that required the available Villa players to step up amid a host of key injury woes.
