Everton in ‘Big Trouble’ at Goodison Park as £200m Sky Sports News update emer

The ex-Everton scout doesn’t understand why Farhad Moshiri has not yet abandoned talks with 777 Partners.

It comes after Sky Sports News reported (23 April) that 777 Partners had provided further funding at Goodison Park, taking the total the American investment firm has put into the club to over £200million.

And King – speaking exclusively to Goodison News – has expressed his lack of faith in 777.

“It is surprising that they continue to loan money to Everton, but yet the takeover can’t seem to be finalised,” King said.

“I don’t understand why this deal wasn’t done when it was meant to be done, which was almost a year ago. “With all of these loans, the club appear to be in big trouble financially, and I am worried. “If 777 Partners can’t raise the money, then why do the club continue to insist on doing a deal with them? It all seems very makeshift.”

Can 777 Partners be trusted by Everton supporters at Goodison Park?

It would be difficult to blame Everton fans for not having much faith in 777 considering everything that has happened recently.

Although they continue to put money into the club, it appears that they are still in no position to complete a takeover at Goodison Park.

With their performances on the pitch beginning to pick up, supporters of the Toffees will hope that things in the boardroom can start to accelerate too.

In other Everton news, King has accused the Premier League and PGMOL of secrecy after what happened this week.
