Just In: HOBSON’S EMOTION AFTER FULFILLING LIFELONG EVERTON DREAM

Issy Hobson made history on Sunday as the Everton teenager became the youngest-ever goalscorer in the Women’s Super League.

A lifelong Evertonian, Hobson came off the bench to head in an equaliser five minutes deep into stoppage time to secure a 1-1 draw against high-flying Arsenal.

It was a dream come true for the 16-year-old who has gone from strength to strength this season as part of Brian Sorensen’s senior squad.

One home game remains for the Blues this season against Tottenham Hotspur this Saturday (12pm BST).
