Dasilva looks ahead to Blackburn trip and reflects on his first season at Coventry

Jay Dasilva is looking to give the Sky Blue Army a good day out when they take on Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park.

City take on Rovers in the final away fixture of the Championship season, with over 4,000 supporters packing out the away end.

Looking back at the FA Cup Semi-Final…

“Sunday was pretty special. The performance, the fans, everyone involved, it was a great day, and we were so close to reaching the final, as everyone saw.

“We are so proud, and everyone should be proud of each other and ourselves. To go toe-to-toe with an elite team like Manchester United and we had better chances to win the game in the end.

“That split decision, where it’s so close, things could be different, but like I said we’re all so proud.”
Travelling to Blackburn…

“The last away game of the season and we know the support will be there with us like they have been all season.

“It will be great for us to give them something to cheer about.”

Reunion with Kyle McFadzean…

“It will be great, and everyone will be buzzing to see him again.

“He was a great servant for this football club, and everyone misses him still, so it will be great to see him again.”

An assist last time out…

“I managed to find some space and Bobby was still in the box and I managed to put it on his big head, and he did the rest.”

Reflecting on the season…

“I’ve enjoyed every moment of this season, personally I would like to have played more than what I have, but that’s just me on a personal note.

“I’ve still loved it every step of the way and it’s been a great new challenge for me, and I can’t wait to build on it.”

Aims for next season…

“I think next season I want to be more consistent. Throughout my career I’ve prided myself on being a consistent player.
