Leicester City player ratings v Millwall

Enzo Maresca‘s side failed to create anything of note in a pretty dull Championship affair that was decided by one piece of Millwall brilliance.

Leicester had a number of below-par performers with only one player really standing out.

He had a great opportunity to level the scores late on but his effort was well saved by Matija Sarkic.

Wout Faes – 3

Wout Faes gave the ball away for Millwall’s goal, he claimed a foul but the referee waved play on before Ryan Longman dispatched a stunning curling effort into the top corner.

Turned too easily by Michael Obafemi not long after which almost led to a second goal for the hosts.

Jannik Vestergaard – 5

Assured in possession and didn’t have too much to think about defensively.

Callum Doyle – 5

Was always trying to play the forward ball and his crosses looked threatening.

Wilfred Ndidi – 4

Lacked quality in the final third but was a willing runner before coming off in place of Dennis Praet.

Harry Winks – 5

Booked very harshly in the first half for a challenge on Obafemi so had to walk a tightrope for the remainder of the game.

Harry Winks was tidy in possession, as he so often is.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall – 5

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall made two well-weighted passes to Stephy Mavididi and Jamie Vardy in the first half, who both failed to finish.

Wasn’t involved much in the second period.
