The Golden State Warriors have been beyond pleased with the work of Jonathan Kuminga this season.

Just months ago, there were numerous questions about him and his future with the team and now he is a vital part of the lineup.

But Kuminga has been injured since the end of March and fans are wondering when he will be back.

Speaking on “Run It Back,” Shams Charania urged fans to not worry because he said that Kuminga will return, the Warriors just want to handle his recovery and re-entry the right way.

“This is a day-to-day injury, this is nothing that’s going to keep [Kuminga] out much longer, but they want to make sure he’s going to be back as close to 100% as possible,” Charania said.

Kuminga has been a gift for the Warriors this year, producing 16.3 points and 4.8 rebounds per game while earning his spot as one of the team’s starting players.

After a tough opening to the season, he and head coach Steve Kerr settled their differences and agreed on his role within the roster.

Since then, Kuminga has flourished and the Warriors have benefited from that.

His current knee injury isn’t a very serious one, but the Warriors want to ensure that he is only back when he’s ready.
