Wembley issue ticket update for Coventry City vs Man Utd match

The Sky Blues will face the Red Devils in the last four of the tournament at Wembley next month after pulling off a shock 3-2 win against Premier League Wolves in the quarter-finals last weekend. Ellis Simms and Haji Wright both scored in injury time amid dramatic scenes at Molineux.

United also beat Liverpool in dramatic style, with a last minute winner from Amad Diallo in a 4-3 victory after extra time at Old Trafford. Last year’s winners, Manchester City, will face Chelsea in the other semi-final.

The dates of the two semi-final ties are still to be announced, although Coventry have confirmed they have been given an allocation of 34,000 tickets. Wembley have also issued an update on hospitality for the semi-finals, which reads: “Football fans across England are familiar with the expression, ‘Anything can happen in the FA Cup’. Once again, this has become true in the FA quarter-finals, with Championship team Coventry City beating Wolverhampton Wanderers and Manchester United scoring in the 121st minute of extra time, beating rivals Liverpool.

“Manchester City cruised past Newcastle United, whilst Chelsea also scored in the later stage of the game, with two goals over the 90-minute mark to secure victory over Leicester City.
