SAD NEWS: He Lives…. BYE to you our legend…..

Bears Trade Justin Fields to Steelers

Justin Fields was recently traded from the Chicago Bears to the Pittsburgh Steelers. NTD’s Carlos Reyes breaks it all down.

The only thing that changes here is that all Bears fans should be on the same page moving into the draft. Gone are the knockdown, drag-out arguments surrounding Justin Fields versus Caleb Williams. While some fans might not agree with the decision, what’s done is done and it’s time to move forward.

Williams’ Pro Day on Wednesday in Los Angeles, followed shortly after by a Top 30 visit to Chicago will help the Bears’ front office come to a decision on which quarterback they are going to take. From a talent standpoint, there’s very little not to like about the USC and Oklahoma product. His physical tools are off the charts. His ability to make off-script plays look effortless is a sight to behold. His fumbling issues are an issue, as is his unwillingness to play in structure at times. All in all, Williams holds all the tools to be an elite quarterback at the next level. He’s shown the ability to play on time. He has more than enough arm talent and improvisational skills to make up for some of his Superman-like decision-making that can lead to turnover-worthy plays.

While I wouldn’t write this pick in stone quite yet, it would be an utter shock for Williams not to be in Chicago for their rookie mini-camp in early May.
