Green Bay Packers Head Coach Matt LaFleur had an extremely successful 2023 season.  After starting out the season rocky (to say the least) the Packers finished their season going 7-3 in their final ten games.  That included a massive Wild Card win over the Dallas Cowboys and falling just three points shy of the Conference Championship.

Just as importantly, the Packers solidified their quarterback position for the foreseeable future.  Jordan Love earned himself a contract extension and the Packers are going into the 2024 season with the utmost confidence.

The off-season, however, is a different animal.  It gives time for players and coaches alike to relax and do things they enjoy.  For LaFleur, that means going to a Marquette Basketball game with the enemy.

Many speculated what the two could have been talking about during the marquee matchup. Perhaps LaFleur casually brought up Green Bay’s season sweep last year. Or perhaps they discussed the NFL combine prospects last week. Before the NCAA Tournament, they might be scouting two of the country’s top teams as fans of Big East basketball.

The Fiserv Forum scoreboard displayed LaFleur and Eberflus in the first half. As the screen alternated between the two coaches, cheers for LaFleur and boos for Eberflus erupted from the crowd.
